A lot of people might not be familiar or are wondering what does a club promoter do and how do they earn a good income. The fact is, a club promoter is a good paying job as long as you know how to do it right.

A club promoter can be a single individual or group of individuals who are being hired by club owners to promote their club and their club’s events such as concerts and parties. Usually, club owners hire club promoters because they want to save money from advertising expenses.

Rather than advertising, these club owners hire some people (promoters) to do the work for them. Of course, hiring club promoters is much favorable for them rather than paying expensive advertisements.

So really it’s a win-win situation for the club owners and club promoters. Plus, the club promoters benefit from earning big money while they are clubbing and having fun at the events.

Now the job of a club promoter is to increase the number of people who will attend the event or to fill in the club. And they can be paid on a flat fee for the night, per person that they bring to the club, and on a specified percentage of the total sales during the night of the event.

If you want to be in this business. You should not only love clubbing, but it is also a plus factor if you have good communication skills and good persuading powers. Or having tons of friends that love to party.

As for getting people to the events. The typical way that club promoters do this is to hand out flyers and posters to people on the street informing them about the upcoming event. However, as technology is setting up the trends in marketing, most club promoters are now implementing marketing strategies through the use of social networking sites.

Usually, club promoters have a large network of friends who love to party. But it’s not a requirement to becoming successful.

Aside from bringing people to the party, club promoters also document their successful events by hiring a professional photographer that will capture the pictures from the events. These pictures will then be posted on myspace, facebook, or some type of website for people to see. This is a big plus, because many people love to have their pictures taken and showing it off to their friends.

In conclusion, being a club promoter is a rewarding job but it also entails responsibility. As a club promoter, you need to ensure that a lot of people will attend the event and that they will enjoy their stay at the party. You also need to gain loyal customers (build a list) so that you can easily contact these party goers whenever there’s a special event held in the clubs that you promote.
